How is the fit?

Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.

Is the comfort worth it?

They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since my feet get sweaty. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Plus, they’re already distressed so your feet just adjust easily.

Do they hold up well?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you buy again?

Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
